They are designed to be read to children, appreciated by teenagers,
and loved by adults. Here are the first two, ready for you to enjoy

Secret.
Golden
Chains And Silver Cords
A
Parable About Freedom
A beautifully illustrated perception
parable about freedom written by Living
In Grace author, Beca Lewis.
Listen To Golden Chains And Silver Cords
The
story begins ..
"Once upon a time there was a very handsome and proud bullfrog that
lived on a lily pad in the middle of a large silver lake. He was
known through out all the land as the frog with the prettiest skin and the
most beautiful eyes, and he was very proud of both.
He was very careful about the way he looked. He would never venture
out onto his pad until he was sure he looked his best with the perfect
bow tie to match his mood......"
Learning To Let Go
This is a story about two ways of thinking
that tie us down, and prevent us from living the lives we desire.
We are all inspired by someone else who walks the path before us.
In this case our Handsome Bull Frog, is tied down by who he has
always been and the admiration that it gains him from others. Through
the example of his new friend he learns how to let go .. and fly!
Love's Silent Sweet Secret
Discover The Secret
A beautifully illustrated perception
parable about freedom written by Living
In Grace author, Beca Lewis
Listen To Silent Sweet Secret
The story
begins ..
Once
upon a time there lived a husband and wife who were very good
friends. Their names were Agatha and Winston. Agatha was a small,
very round, gray bear who loved to amble through flower gardens
smelling the flowers and petting the bees.
Winston
was a tall rather saggy and unstuffed brown bear. This unstuffedness
caused him to look a little shaky, but once one got to know him they
would find that he was really quite dignified and precise. Some of
their friends could not understand how Agatha and Winston became
such good friends....."
How
It Came To Be
I wrote this little perception
parable for my oldest daughter Christin. I was living at the
time with two “teddy” bears,
my computer and a pig puppet (but that’s another story).
My two bears would sit quietly while I wrote and I often felt as
if they were trying to tell me something. One day they told me
their love story and I wrote it down as a gift for Christin’s
birthday.
For years after that the story just sat in my files while I wished
I could think of something good to do with it. About 9 years later
my dear friend Kari read the story and for my birthday hired an
artist to illustrate it for me. She picked the perfect artist (as
you will see) and in the process demonstrated love just as in the
story.
But, life continued and I never had time to package the story
and another 7 years went by while this parable about love continued
to wait in my files.
And then love happened again. I confided to Del how much wonderful
it would be to put this story together for everyone to enjoy, but
it never happens because I never have the time to do it.
Without hesitation, and all on his own, Del
put aside his work and spent the next 5 days working on publishing
the parable for me – and you. It is more beautiful than
I ever thought it could be!
So love for my daughter and from the bears and from my friend
and from my husband and of course the story from Love Itself is
our gift to you. We hope you enjoy it. |

Corinne used to read books on tape as a volunteer for RFBD (Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic) while living in Boston. She has a background in educational outreach and a masters degree in education. Now living in Minneapolis and working in higher education, she still loves to read stories, particularly while fresh snow is falling outside.
Corinne says:
It has been a joy to work on these! They are really wonderful stories with deep symbolism. You can read them many times and keep getting new insights from them.
